Ethan Bloomfield Sets Sights on New ‘Target’

Recruiting industry veteran Ethan Bloomfield is leaving longtime employer JobTarget to join ZipRecruiter. He was JobTarget’s VP of business development.

“Obviously the decision wasn’t easy,” Bloomfield said. “JobTarget and I have grown a lot over the years and I have enjoyed the ride. When I started there were only 15 people – and today I am saying good bye to something like 75 friends.”

He’ll be joining ZipRecruiter, a job distributor, as their SVP of Business Development and points to ZipRecruiter “quietly growing in our space over the past couple of years” as a big reason for the move.

“I have watched them as an outsider and was always very impressed with their products and fast growth.” he said. “When I met the team in their Santa Monica offices, I instantly knew this was something I wanted to be a part of.

The move will be officially announced on Monday.
